Desert Bike Raid

It’s a beautiful tour in the marvellous and fascinating land of north Africa with stays that will last some days between tracks and dunes of the centre-south of Tunisia, crossing enchanting oasis immersed in a “unlimited” sea of sand and enjoying, upon the green “mountain-oasis”, the astonishing sight of the “chott el-Gharsa”.

You will make the unforgettable experience of crossing the well-known “chott el-Jerid”, an immense salt lake (measuring about 5000 kilometres squared), whose glittering surface together with the optic effects created by the sun rays will make you desire a refreshing oasis.

As regards the overnight stay you will spend five nights in luxurious hotels (4-5 stars – half board) and two nights “under the stars” in a camping located in an oasis at the centre of the Tunisinian desert.

During the week you will have the opportunity of visiting some very interesting Arabian and Roman archaelogic sites and, obviously, the suggestive “souk” in the medines of small and big town.
