RENDEZVOUS EXCURSIONS 2004

January:

-        on the 6th of January off road excursion at “ Tre Arie Lake”, passing through the town of Randazzo, Villa Faranda and going up the Flascio river. Arrival, at lunchtime, at the lake and picnic by the sides of the lake. In the afternoon, return going through the small villages of Floresta and Roccella Valdemone.

February:

-        on the 5th of February excursion at the Forestal shelter "Posto Leone" , going through Graniti, Santuario Monte Kalfa, Antillo, P.zzo di Verna, P.zzo Sughero.  Arrival and lunch at the equipped area of Posto Leone. In the afternoon return  passing through the villages of  Bafia, Fondachelli Fantina and Francavilla di Sicilia.

March:

-        on the5th of March excursion at ”Serra dei Bauruli” spot, passing through the Troina river, Rocca S. Elia, Cozzo di Mangano. Arrival and lunch at the equipped area of Serra dei Bauruli. In the afternoon return going through the small villages of Capizzi and Cerami.

April:

-        from the 24th to the 5th theTourist Raid of Tunisia, a beautiful trip in the enchanting land of north Africa, with the possibility of partecipating with own car or with the organizer's veichles. During this trip you will have the opportunity of visiting the Arab and Roman archaelogical sites and the crowded and fascinating street markets in the medine of little and big cities. Moreover you can make excursions of two or more days between tracks and dunes, discovering mysterious and charming oasis immersed in a sea of sand. Furthermore, in the tracks of south you can meet the bolides of the Rally of Tunisia. As regards the accomodation: four nights half-board in deluxe or first class hotels, and three nights, half board, in a camping.

May:

-       on the 7th of May test of the new veichles QUAD (off road motor-cycle with four wheels and two seats).  Going up of the Alcantara river to its gorges and picnic. In the afternoon  return passing through Taormina beach.

-        on the 21th of May excursion at the locality Rocche del Crasto, going through  Serra del Re with  lunch in a typical restaurant. In the afternoon  return following the track  that runs along the Flascio river-.

June :

-        on the 18th of June excursion at the shrine of Mount Kalfa passing through the village of Graniti. Visit to the shrine and then going on to Antillo,  reaching the beach by following the river that arrives in the town of S. Teresa, picnic. Return in the evening.

July :

-        on the 16th of July excursion at Barcellona di Sicilia beach, going up the broad stream of Francavilla di Sicilia, passing through the Montagna Grande and going down to the Barcellona beach by  moving along the river that  flows into the Tyrrhenian sea, picnic on the beach.

August :

-        on the 15th of August excursion at the Pozzillo lake, picnic.

September :

-        on the 17st of September  excursion at Acquedolci beach,  going up the Cutò river,  passing through the town of Cesarò and moving along the S.Fratello river, picnic on the beach.

October :

-        on the 14th -15th of October  partecipation to the 19th Tourist Night Raid Notturno, organised in collaboration with the Club 4WD Acireale.

November :

-        on the 12th of November  excursion to the  catacombs of  Savoca, passing through  Gallo D’Oro, Forza D’Agrò, and  the S.Francesco di Paola byzanthine church located in the vicinity of S.Teresa broad stream, picnic in the equipped area nearby the town of  Savoca; in the afternoon visit to the catacombs.

December :

-        on the 10 of December  excursion at the locality of Polverello passing through the broad stream of Francvilla Di Sicilia, Portella Mandrazzi, and the well Acque Salutari. Arrival at Polverello and  lunch  in typical restaurant.
