• Half-day excursion Alcantara Gorges, Castiglione di Sicillia(a): departure from the  hotel or the prearranged place, moving along the motorway or the state road; then, start of the route by off-road vehicle from the low valley of the Alcantara river to the amazing gorges that this river has created in the volcanic rock. Sightseeing of the gorges. Then, the excursion proceeds to Castiglione di Sicilia. Sightseeing tour of the town, built on an attractive rocky hill and overlooking the Alcantara river; here, you can taste some home Sicilian products like: wine,  hot bread seasoned with home cold-pressed olive oil, dry tomatoes, home olives, and varied sauces. Return to the starting point at about 13,00.

• Half-day excursion"North Etna-Eruption 2002  (b): departure from the  hotel or the prearranged place, moving along the motorway and the state road to Linguaglossa. Excursion tour in off-road through the woods to the lavic flows (Eruption 2002). Then, coming back with the possibility of tasting some Sicilian wines in a typical cellar. Return to the starting point at about 13,00.

• Half-day excursion "Zafferana, Cassone, South Etna Eruption 2002.Day excursion (c): departure from the prearranged place or the hotel, moving along the motorway and the state road to Cassone resort, crossing the town of Zafferana. Start of the off-road route with stops to enjoy the enchanting view of the lavic flows.  Then, the excursion proceeds to the lavic forehead near the Sapienza shelter.Return via state road to the starting point at about 13,00.

• Day excursion "Gorges - North Etna"(d): the same itinerary of the excursion (a); from the town of Castiglione di Sicilia start of the off-road route with enchanting views of Alcantara valley . Then, stop at Linguaglossa town for the lunch that may be in an agri-touristic farm, or in a typical restaurant, or a nice pic-nic in the woods at the slopes of the volcano Etna. In the afternoon, the excursion proceeds to the lavic foreheads of the eruption of 2002.  Return to the starting point in the evening with the possibility, along the route, of tasting some Sicilian wines in a typical cellar.

• Day excursion "Alcantara Gorges - Taormina" (e): departure from the hotel or the prearranged place, moving along the motorway and the state road. Start of the off-road route, stop at the Alcantara gorges and visit.  Lunch in a typical restaurant or in an agri-touristic farm located on a hill overlooking the Alcantara Valley at the slopes of the volcano Etna. In the afternoon, the excursion goes on to Porta Messina in Taormina, there you will have time free (2 hours) for shopping (visit souvenir shops, typical handicrafts shops, antique shops), taking pictures and individual visits. Then (after two hours), meeting at the opposite side of the town near Porta Catania. In the evening return to the starting point.
